Change Up Your Make Up

It's a new season. Spring is in the air and summer is right around the corner. As the seasons change, I find myself needing change. You can relate, right? So, let's take a look at some make-up trends for Spring/ 2010.

Freshen your look with some new, fun colors.

As we spring ahead into summer, pink and orange shades are all the rage. From fuchsia, to coral, to peachy orange, you can't go wrong. Use these fantastic hues as a pop of color on your cheeks or lips. Be sure to choose one or the other. You don't want to over do it!

Julie Hewett has some Spring perfect colors:

Belle Noir (a bright coral summer red lip stick)

Mimi (a perfect sheer pink Lip Lush gloss)

&
Peachie (a juicy peachy coral hued "Cheekie Pot" - a cheek and lip shine)

And, of course a sun kissed glow is always in style when the sun is shining. 'N Vogue has exactly what you need to help you achieve the look.

Always start with clean, moisturized skin.

This will not only help you achieve your sun kissed glow, but keep your skin healthy as well.

Try using products like DDF's Non Drying Gentle Cleanser and DDF's Daily Protective Moisturizer with SPF 15.

Now for the "sun kissed" part...

Try a product like Paula Dorf's Face Tint for all over color. This tinted moisturizer has a slight shimmer, so your skin really will glow! If you are not looking for a lot of coverage, this makes a perfect substitute for foundation during the spring and summer. Just use a concealer to cover up any blemishes.

To enhance your bone structure or add a no fuss dusting of color, try Paula Dorf's Pressed Powder Bronzer. Apply all over, or under cheek bones and along the jaw line to enhance the structure of your face.

There you have it. Some simple, yet beautiful changes you can make as you move into summer!

These products are just to name a few that 'N Vogue has to offer, but if you mention our blog when purchasing any of the items mentioned above, you will receive 15% off of your purchase thru next Thursday (May 13th)!
